YIWO Argentina

We all owe a deep graditude to Yehoshua Serlin (CPSA member) for volunteering to work at the YIWO offices in Argentina and by thus gaining access to the documents they have pertaining to the Pruzany District. These douments like others are mainly what survived the terrorist bomb blast of the AMIA (Jewish Mutual Association in Argentina) building. The bomb blast killed  a lot of people and totally destroyed  the building. Volunteers sifted through the ruble and collected bits and pieces of papers and put them all into boxes. Yehoshua went through the papers pertaining to the Pruzany district and indexed them.

The first of  these documents to appear on CPSA is information about a health fund,   KRANKEL CASSE  , that  was established in Argentina by immigrants from the Pruzany district.
